Ticket fees
What beMYN charges on paid tickets, what card processing costs, and who pays each depending on the host's choice.
Updated
Free tickets are free: no fees for the host or the guest. Creating events and collecting RSVPs stay free too. Paid tickets carry two fees.

Who pays
- Buyers (the default): buyers pay the fees on top of the ticket price and you get the full ticket price. The invite shows the price plus fees and the all-in total.
- You: buyers pay only the ticket price and the fees come out of it.
- Pick this under Who pays fees on the event's Tickets page. It's locked after the first sale.

When buyers pay the fees, card processing is worked out on the whole total, so it's slightly higher than 2.9% of the ticket price. The $0.30 is charged once per order, so buying several tickets together costs less in processing per ticket.
Fees and refunds
Fees are not refunded when a host refunds a ticket. They are refunded in full when the event is cancelled. See refunds and cancellations.
Common questions
Is there a monthly fee or a fee on free tickets?
No. beMYN only charges the service fee on paid tickets.
Where does the buyer see the fees?
On the invite, under the total. Tapping the fees line shows the ticket price, the beMYN service fee and card processing. The order page shows them too.
