Hosting an event
How do I create an event?
Sign in, tap Create, and fill in a title, date, and time. Add a location, description, and cover photo if you like, then tap Publish event. Your invite goes live right away and you land on its page, ready to share.
Can I save a draft and publish later?
Not yet. Publishing is immediate. You can edit every detail afterwards from Edit event, and guests always see the latest version.
What is the difference between Public, Unlisted, and Private?
Public and Unlisted events open for anyone with the link. Private events only open for hosts, people who have already responded, and anyone arriving through a valid invite link.
How do capacity and the waitlist work?
Capacity counts people, not responses, so a guest bringing two plus-ones uses three spots. When the event is full you can turn on a waitlist. Waitlisted guests are moved in by hand: open Guests and tap Give a spot when one frees up.
Can someone help me host?
Yes. After publishing, the event owner can add co-hosts from Edit event and choose what each one may do, such as editing the event or managing guests. Co-hosts need an existing beMYN account.
How do I cancel an event?
Open Edit event, scroll to the danger zone, and tap Cancel event. You will be asked to type CANCEL to confirm. Cancelling closes RSVPs and cannot be undone.
Guests and RSVPs
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
Yes. Guests sign in with Google or an email and password when they respond, so hosts always know exactly who is coming. Viewing a public or unlisted invite does not require signing in.
Can I bring a guest?
If the host allows plus-ones, you will see Bring a guest on the RSVP card. Add a name for each person, up to the host's limit.
How do I change my response?
Open the invite again and pick a different response. Your latest answer replaces the old one.
Why does my RSVP say pending?
The host turned on approval, so they confirm each guest by hand. You will show as going once they approve you.
Who can see that I am going?
Hosts always see the guest list, including your answers to any questions. Other guests may see your name and photo under Who's going unless the host has hidden the guest list.
Your account
I already used the classic beMYN app. Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in with the same Google account or email you used before. Your existing events come with you.
How do I change how my invite looks?
Open your event in create or edit and use the Shuffle or palette buttons next to Publish. Pick a background and a 3D decor; everyone who opens the invite sees the same look.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email support from the address on your account and we will take care of it. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and why.
