Get paid for ticket sales

Connect a Stripe account to sell paid tickets, what each payout status means, and when ticket money reaches your bank.

Updated

beMYN pays hosts through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account once, from your settings, and it works for every event you own. Free tickets don't need it.

Connect with Stripe

  1. Open the Account menu (your avatar in the top bar) and choose Settings, or tap Profile on your phone.
  2. Under Payouts, find Stripe payouts and tap Connect with Stripe.
  3. Stripe opens. Follow its steps: it asks for details to confirm your identity and the bank account to pay you into.
  4. When you finish, Stripe sends you back to Settings, which shows your status.

When you get paid

  • Ticket money stays with Stripe until your event is over, so buyers can be refunded if plans change.
  • Two days after the event ends, beMYN pays out your share for that event to your bank. Your share is the ticket sales minus refunds, and minus fees if you chose to pay them.
  • If the funds aren't available at Stripe yet, the payout is tried again the next day.
  • Your bank then shows the deposit on its usual timeline. Open Stripe to follow a payout.

Common questions

Do I need a separate Stripe account for each event?

No. One Stripe account covers every event you own.

Where do I see what I've earned on an event?

Open the event's Tickets page. Your earnings shows your share after refunds. Open Stripe from Settings for payouts.

What happens if an event is cancelled?

Every paid order is refunded in full and nothing is paid out for that event. See refunds and cancellations.
