Create your first event
Go from a blank page to a published invite in a few minutes, with every option explained.

You need a beMYN account to host. Sign up at Sign in with Google or an email and password, then follow these steps.
1. Add the basics
- Open Create from the top bar (or the + button on your phone).
- Type your event name in the title field at the top.
- Choose who can see it with the visibility menu beside the title: Public, Unlisted or Private. See who can see your event.
- Set the Start date and time. Tap ⋯ next to it to change the time zone; it defaults to yours.
- Tap the location row to choose To be decided, Physical (place name and address) or Online (meeting link).
- Tap Add a description to tell guests what to expect.
2. Choose your event options
The Event options list covers how RSVPs work. Every option can be changed later, so the defaults are fine if you're unsure.

| Require approval | Each RSVP waits for you to confirm it. Off by default. |
| Capacity | Caps the headcount, plus-ones included, and turns on the waitlist. |
| Guest settings | Plus-ones and how many, whether Maybe is allowed, and whether the guest list is hidden. |
| RSVP questions | Up to ten questions guests answer when they respond. |
| After RSVP (More options) | A confirmation message, dress code, parking and entry details shown to guests who are coming. |
| Deadline and location (More options) | An RSVP-by date, and hiding the address until someone responds. |
3. Make it look like your event
- Tap the camera icon on the poster to add a cover: upload a photo or search Unsplash. See adding a cover photo.
- Tap Shuffle next to Publish event for a random background and decor, or the palette button to choose. On a phone these sit on the small rail at the right edge of the screen. See themes and decor.
4. Publish and share
- Tap Publish event. The event goes live immediately and opens on its page.
- Tap the link icon on the poster to copy the invite link (on a phone it opens your share sheet).
- Paste the link in your group chat, text or email.
Common questions
Is it free to create an event?
Yes. Creating events, collecting RSVPs and every hosting feature are free, with no ads on your invite.
Can I change details after publishing?
Yes. Open the event, tap Edit, change anything and tap Save changes. Guests see the update straight away.
