Who can see your event: public, unlisted and private
What each visibility setting means, how the invite link works, and how to hide the address until guests RSVP.

| Public | Anyone. Upcoming public events are listed on Discover. |
| Unlisted | Anyone with the event link. Never listed anywhere. |
| Private | Only people who open the invite link. Guests who RSVP can come back later without it. |
Hide the address until guests respond
- In Event options, tap More options, then Deadline and location.
- Turn on Reveal location after RSVP.
- Guests see "Location shared after RSVP" until they respond. Hosts always see the full address.
Change visibility any time from the menu beside the title on the Edit page.
Common questions
Is my private event searchable?
No. Private and unlisted events are never listed on Discover or anywhere else.
Can someone guess a private event's address?
Opening a private event needs the invite link, which contains a long random code. The plain event address alone won't open it.
