Edit, cancel or restore an event

Change details after publishing, cancel an event without deleting it, and bring a cancelled event back.

Edit

  1. Open your event and tap the pencil icon (on the poster on a computer, on the right-edge rail on a phone), or open the event from your home page.
  2. Change the title, date, location, description, cover or look, then tap Save changes.
  3. Event options (capacity, approval, questions and the rest) save as soon as you change them.

Cancel

  1. On Edit, open More options and tap Cancel event.
  2. Type CANCEL to confirm, then tap Confirm cancel.
  3. The event shows a Cancelled badge. Guests can still view it, but new RSVPs and poll votes are closed.

Restore

On the Edit page of a cancelled event, tap Restore event and confirm. The event is published again with all its responses, invites and settings intact.

Common questions

Does cancelling delete my guest list?

No. Cancelling keeps every response, photo and update. You can restore the event any time.
