How the shared photo gallery works on a beMYN event, who can add pictures, and how to get people to actually upload.

The best photos from any party are scattered across fifteen phones, and three of them are blurry pictures of the ceiling. We added a photo gallery to every event so they end up in one place.
Who can add photos
Hosts and guests who said Going can add photos from the event page. Each person can add up to twenty, as JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB each. Big phone photos are shrunk on the way up so they load fast for everyone.
Who can see them
The gallery follows the same rule as your guest list. If you've hidden the guest list, only hosts see the photos. Otherwise everyone who's going can browse them.
Getting people to upload
- Post an update the morning after: "Drop your photos here!" with the link.
- Add a few of your own first. Nobody wants to go first.
- Mention it at the party. "Put them on the invite" is easier than any shared album.
Uploaders and hosts can delete a photo any time.
