RSVP questions worth asking (and the ones to skip)
The questions that save hosts real work, how multiple choice helps, and why fewer is better on an RSVP form.

You can add up to ten questions to a beMYN RSVP. Please don't. The best forms I've seen have one or two, and every one of them is something the host actually used.
Three kinds of question
- Short answer for open things like allergies or a song request.
- Yes or no for simple checks, like "Are you driving?"
- Multiple choice when you want tidy answers: a meal choice, a time slot, a T-shirt size.
Multiple choice is the one I'd reach for most. Instead of reading twenty spellings of "vegetarian," you get a clean count on your guest list.
Questions that earn their spot
- “Any dietary restrictions we should know about?”
- “Chicken, fish or vegetarian?”
- “Can you bring a dish? What is it?”
- “Need a spot to park?”
Required or optional
Mark a question required only if you truly can't plan without it. Required questions are skipped when someone says Can't go, so declining never gets harder. Optional multiple-choice questions have a "No answer" choice, so guests can clear a pick they didn't mean.
Answers show up next to each guest on your guest list, only for you and your co-hosts.
